You'll never have trouble finding your car in the parking lot again--because there won't be another one like it. This GLK has every package and option available except for leather interior (which I much prefer the M-B Tex since it's more resilient). Premium sport package, LED and Bi-xenon Headlights, tow setup, the mysterious special-order cuprit brown color everyone loves but can't quite describe. (Is it metallic black? No, it's a brown. Wait! It's dark purple!)
You feel like a million bucks with this beauty. Other people have to dig out their keys to unlock and start their car but not you. You just walk up, and it opens and starts with a touch because you're awesome (and you have the electronic key fob somewhere on your person).
Heated seats, corner turn lights that are oh-so-spiffy for turning into the driveway, steel-reinforced doors that shut like a bank vault. Even the cheerful yet elegant "beep beep" when you lock it...
Throw whatever you need to transport onto the large rubber mat in the back. If you run out of room, put it on the roof rack or tow it with the 1-1/4" receiver.
We consistently get 24 mpg combined and higher on the interstate with plenty of power out of the V6.
We bought this awesome piece of German engineering two years ago at the Mercedes Dealership in Columbus, GA as a Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-owned vehicle before moving to Pensacola and since then it has had every maintenance performed at Centennial Imports. It's professionally waxed twice a year and I am an OCD-clean-car-nut so I wash it every couple weeks. Just installed new high-performance ceramic brake pads and rotors all the way around - no more brake dust on the wheels!
So why are we getting rid of it?
Because we're idiots. We bought a boat and convinced ourselves we needed something more rugged, less luxury. Something people wouldn't see and assume we had money. We bought its replacement, and we can't afford to keep both. Stupid.
The most annoying thing about this car has been the ultra polite GPS voice. After you enter a destination, she asks "Do you want to proceed to highlighted route?" No, no I don't. I was just bored, GPS, and talking to you is fun...
We've seen only 1 other this color since we bought it 2 years ago, and that was in Atlanta.
Snap it up before someone else does or we decide to eat rice and beans to hang on to it.
